Description

POKHARA, NEPAL – CIRCA SEPTEMBER 2013: Front facade of the Buddhist Matepani Gumba monastery in Pokhara circa September 2013. The monks practice Kagyu, which is a type of Tibetan Buddhism. Young monks come from all over Nepal to study here.

The monastery is situated on a small hill a few kilometers from Pokhara. It is very welcoming place and I was able to attend a ceremony here.
